Tom's Roast Part-1

IT'S MY PARTY!!!

It was an incredible night to remember.

Before we started taping the show there was an incredible Italian buffet and everyone pigged out big time. During the dining hour we played a continuous playlist of songs recorded in the 70's by my old band, Brothers Kingdom. As a "surprise" birthday gift Christine had 40-year old reel to reel live recordings of the band transferred to digital format and saved a huge body of work form my band, over a hundred songs. It was one of the best gifts I ever received. They were almost lost for good as the reel to reel tapes were brittle and breaking continually.
Each video segment is less than 30 minutes in length so you can watch one and come back for the next later (if you are so inclined. The entire videos total about 2 hours and 3 minutes.)

My brother Jim MC'd the event. This video segment includes Jim's opening monologue, Christine's "hair cutting" story and Tim's incredibly hilarious "Tomaholic" routine. I never thought of Tim as a stand up comedian but there is no doubt he would be great at it. Since they poked so much fun at me I thought I'd let the world have a chuckle at them.

This was Jimmy

This was Timmy

The golf lesson skit at the beginning of this segment is taken from a golf outing with Christine, Mum and Dad. We each did our own golf instruction routine right there on a T-box in front of people looking over their condo balconies. No pride! I'll be posting their lessons later which are off the charts hilarious.

For this Journal and its posts, since it all relates to my 60th birthday event, the various skit clips are all about MEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
