Annie Payne is an Australian personal historian, who founded her business, History from the Heart, in 2006. She first commenced interviewing people about their life stories in 1988 as a Bi-centennial project and hasn’t stopped following her passion. Her love of family stories was ignited as a small girl, begging her grandparents to tell her another story from their youth, (both were more than willing to comply!).
She works with people who want more than a family tree. Through face-to-face workshops, on-line courses, webinars, individual projects and some innovative products she has developed, Annie helps people to gather, organise and preserve their family stories for the future.
