ZAIDEE BERDINE "SADA" STREETER (HER STORY)

Zaidee Berdine”Sada” Streeter

Her Story

     Zaidee B. was born to parents Martin Josiah Streeter and Emma J. (Van Winkle) Streeter on February 1st, 1876 in Missouri.  In the 1880 census she lived with parents and siblings in Rice, Ringgold Co. Iowa.

      In the census of 1900 the family was again living in Missouri.  The census shows the family in Hamilton, Missouri and that Zaidee was a single person.

      Sometime between the 1900 census and 1912 she married William T. Cormana of Kingston, Mo.  It states in his obituary that he went West to Washington Territory in 1885 and mined in the Hunters district.  He then spent 8 years in Canada, then 10 years in Mexico. He returned to Washington Territory in 1913, and opened a Blacksmith Shop.

       In 1913 Zaidee and William had a son named William Ralph (1913-1921), and in 1915 a daughter named Berdeene (1915-1915, both born in Harrington, Lincoln Co. Washington.

     In the 1920 census the couple were living in Harrington, Washington, with William’s brother.

    1930 census shows them living alone in Harrington, Washington.  In 1937 her husband William died of stomach cancer.  The couple never had any children that survived to adult hood.

     Zaidee B. (Streeter) Comnana died on April 3rd, 1957 in San Gabriel, Los Angeles County, California. 

They both are buried at Hillcrest Cemetery, Harrington, Washington.
