None of those fancy Food Network recipes here. Just your basic meatball. But oh so good…
Why, why, why are handwritten recipes from grandmas always so vague?? But they always tasted soooo good. Grandmas always knew the secrets to their best recipes. I’m guessing the seasoning here is “to taste” since there’s no measurement on it.
1 lb chopped meat
1 egg
½ of a small loaf of Italian bread
Salt and Pepper
Garlic Powder
Parsley
After soaking bread in water, discard the crust. Mix together chopped meat, egg, and all seasonings. Squeeze water from bread and add to mixture. Mix everything by hand. Roll meat balls out on wax paper and then roll into bread crumbs. Fry in vegetable oil. And then of course…Enjoy!
