I was completely shocked one day last summer when I received a package from one of my aunts. She was in the process of downsizing and decided that it was time to pass along a special treasure, her grandmother's recipe box!  It's a very unassuming little metal box chock full of recipes from my greatgrandmother, Flora Maika Tollman and my grandmother, Clara Tollman Anderson.

I was hoping I could share photos here in the group, but It doesn't look like I can so I'll create a slideshow and share some individual recipes here. I'll transcribe them exactly as written, so if you try one you might have to supply some of your own good kitchen sense!

I remember my grandma Clara Anderson making this cookie for us kids and the recipe card has the notation that these were "Jim's Favorites". Jim is my great grandfater, James Mundy Tollman.
