John Brown helped Brigham Young build the Gardo House.  Endowments were done in this house before the Salt Lake Temple was completed.  It later became the home of Amelia Folsom Young.

John Brown's first wife was Sarah.  They had a son Lorenzo John Brown.

John Brown's second wife was Eleanor.  They had a son Samuel Vernon Brown.  Samuel was Father of Maurine Brown Malm.  Maurine was my mother (I am Linda Malm Hoskins).

Lorenzo John Brown married Louise Folsom.  Louise Folsom's sister was Amelia Folsom Young, wife of Brigham Young.  So Louise was Sister-in-law to Brigham Young.

Relationship to Maurine Brown Malm-Lorenzo John Brown was 1/2 Uncle to Maurine.  That made Louise Folsom 1/2 Aunt by marriage.  "So thru marriage the family was related to Brigham Young".
