My Home

My name is Alice Domagalski. I lived most of my married life in a place called Edilillie on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. We were not too far from Port Lincoln where my husband Stan and I turned an old blacksmith's shop into a home and a farm over a 50 year period only to see it the farm destroyed in the bush fires of 2005. This is my story.

Alice thank you for sharing this wonderful sweet story of your precious family and home. I am so sorry this happened to you and Stan, my heart dropped when you told us about the fire and your loss. You are a very strong person to get u and keep going as you did. God bless you and your family for persevering. Love, Christine

"The home was never finished" caused me to reflect on how you have preserved the memories as a lasting legacy to the efforts of you and Stan. Many cherished times were quickly "wiped out", but the story testifies of the hard work and love that your family has continues to endure. Thank you for sharing your story of strength and perseverance.
