Session-5 Life After Discharge
It's been quite a journey since returning hone and being discharged. Like any life story there is too much to include in any one story. The highlights are, among other things, my 10 year career in a rock band with my brothers in the 70's. To see a slide show of this era click HERE
During the 80's I made hand carved gold leaf award winning signs. To see a slide show of that era click HERE
Then we completely restored a 250 year old farmhouse and turned it into a Victorian Gingerbread B&B. To see a slide show of that era click HERE
During the 90's I started making a lot of money with a my radio show that aired on over 600 stations in the US and Canada, 'Let's Talk America'. This is a picture of our dream home in the mountains, Sky Ranch. To see a slide show of this era click HERE
Then we helped restore a vintage mountain town and personally replaced a sunken bridge with a brand new New England covered bridge. It is still one of the things I am most proud of and will stand for centuries while providing the little community the most photographed bridge in the state.
That experience got us into preserving stories of cultures and families which led to the creation of LegacyStories.org. And the story continues.............

WOW! You've accomplished a lot. And you're still a young man. ;-) (From my ancient perspective there are many, many, "young" people. We're fellow musicians. I was a bass (not the fish, folks) man in several bands until my hearing was all but destroyed. I loved being on stage. What was/is your instrument?

I can only say I am in AHH . I used to play a board game with my parents called " The Game of Life " You pick out before you started what you wanted out of life and when you reached that goal you won the game . It had to total 60,000 points . I usually picked out $20,000 cash ; 20,000 in love and 20,000 in fame . I didn't win to often but sometimes .
