I think all agree, Steve’s greatest legacy is left as his children. Yes, it is hard for me to envision a soldier I would trust more, defending my freedom, than Steve. Nevertheless, even Steve would often share that his family was his ultimate priority. I love Steve and Michelle dearly; I imagine I would love Adalia the same. However, I will be here for the kids the best way I know how, not to replace Steve in any way, but to do my part in fulfilling our dreams of seeing the family flourish, in Steve’s memory.
