Being an orphan Pat has few memories of her parents, let alone her grandparents. Here Pat recalls what she has managed to learn about her grandfather - the Laughing Policeman.  

Margaret talks about her grandparents. One of her grandfathers dies when his fishing trawler was lost at sea leaving his wife to bring up five children in Grimsby. A story of courage and perseverence.

Jill Sayner recalls her grandfather, R H Tilbrook, who was the proprietor of the "Northern Argus" in Clare, South Australia. The paper was founded by his father ( H H Tilbrook) who was also noted for his early photographic work.
