My name is Bernie Jackson.  I was born May 20th of 1928.  I'm talking about my five brothers.  They were the big heroes.

I was talking with my brother-in-law, who is 91 years old now.  We were talking at the kitchen table at my brother's house.

He was on his way to England when they got caught in fog, and they landed at an airbase that my brother Stanley was on, the one that was a prisoner of war when he got shot down.

My brother-in-law was on his way to North Africa where my brother Curly was.  My brother Curly got killed in the invasion of North Africa.  So he was a day late for that.

My brother Hank was in the invasion of Anjio.  My brother-in-law was straiffing the beaches where my brother Hank was.

So my brother-in-law was involved with three of my brothers.  We didn't know this until we started talking to him.
