DIANE JOLLEY ADAMS Turning Points of Life - Introduction
“I, Nephi, having been born of goodly parents, therefore I was taught somewhat in all the learning of my father; and having seen many afflictions in the course of my days, nevertheless, having been highly favored of the Lord in all my days; yea, having had a great knowledge of the goodness and the mysteries of God, therefore I make a record of my proceedings in my days.” 1 Nephi 1:1
When there is finally enough life to look back on, the paradigm that one usually bases decisions and values on covers a much broader scope. Some of the deeper rooted lessons of life start to come into place, and the true meaning of why we are here become clear. I have chosen a few experiences that have changed my life and established the values that I have lived by and that mean so much to me.
I wanted to compile these experiences in hopes that they would be of benefit to someone, especially my family. With that in mind, I will share some of my most precious memories and experiences and relate them to the scriptures. This will not be a complete history. I have been writing that in another book.
