After my wife’s death  one of my dear friends from work that I had gone to Tech school with said “ You Ain’t  Driving” I spent the first night with them . He even gave up his bed for me that night . A teacher from the headstart watched both of my son’s for me the first night . There was one lady ask me what are you going to do with your kids ? Take them to your mother ? I said NO They ain’t  her’s  there mine to take care of . My friend that I stayed with the first night from Tech school decided to take me out to Pizza Hut the next day . ( I think it was a Saturday ) We were sitting in this Pizza Hut ( Now Mineral Wells Texas is  about 7000 population so a person could get lost if he wanted to in a town this size but did you know there was a dad gummed preacher tracked me down in Pizza Hut and came over and invited me to church the next morning . The preacher shook hands said his hello and good bye’s and left . That was it . All afternoon ; All evening ; All night ; I thought about what that preacher had said . “ Why don’t come to church tomorrow”  I woke up the next morning thinking about what the preacher had said “ Why don’t come to church tomorrow “ I couldn’t take it . I needed something . Something that I couldn’t find . I didn’t know what it was , but I needed it . I went to his little church and was welcomed with open arms from people that I had never met before in my whole life . I didn’t know none of them . They sang , he preached , they sang some more and I had something pulling at me that it’s hard to explain . but I went down in front of every one that I had never met before and they all knealt down beside me and ask God to help a poor helpless soul that is hurting deep inside . I have no idea who these people were or what the preacher name was the tracked me down in Mineral Wells . But I know one thing for sure . God knows who they were .
