My Memories Of Teresa

During my high school band career I had a lot of wonderful memories . Getting to school before the rest of the kids , practicing the football field shows , practicing marching down the streets and making turns at the street corners to make it look sharp ,dressing up the stage after school for the band queen and king crowning but I guess the most memorable moment I had was walking 100 feet behind Teresa one of the twirlers wishing I was walking beside her instead of 100 feet behind her . I just couldn’t get the nerve to ask her if I could walk beside her . You see being a snare drummer a lot of the girls like to play with your drum sticks while going on a field trip on the school bus . This one trip we was on Teresa came over and sat beside me on the bus picked up my drum sticks and was playing a song on my leg . Then she started playing a song on my arm and it started to sting . Do you know what “Dummy “ did . I popped in the shoulder with my fist . She got up and left ( I can’t blame her ) . I apologized to her older brother that played the Tuba the next day and he just said “ don’t worry about it “ Gee I wonder why she never wanted to set by me again .

Teresa was just "not to be" for you, Charles. Band trips were fantastic fun. I could just see what you're talking about.
