I dated this girl for quite a while then I moved to the town she lived about 50 miles away . I got a job first working for the City doing what ever they needed me to do . The water Department , Street Department , Sewer Department Sanitation Department . Then I went to the carpenter union and joined them . We were married August 27 1972 and the carpenters union kept me busy for about six months then all work stopped . I needed a job , I needed work to support my family so we decided to move to Oklahoma City where I could find work . I found a job right away in a furniture factory in Oklahoma City . We had amall but comfortable one bedroom apartment . I came home one night and my wife said : “I’M PREGNANT”I almost fell over . The furniture factory wasn’t paying enough to support three of us so I started to look around for a better job . I saw an add for a manager trainee at Taco Bell . I made an appointment for an interview and was hired . My oldest son was born March 28 1973 . Taco Bell was OK for awhile then it got where it didn’t pay enough . I talked to the Pepsi delivery driver and he said I ought to go talk to them . I went to ; Pepsi  got hired ; went to work as delivery driver ; and my second son was born

 August 31 1974 . Finnally after years of hard work job hopping around m,y Dad kept telling me “ You ought to go to school on the GI bill and learn a trade “ I said I can’t . Finnally it soaked through my thick head and I went to Electronics Technical School . I had gotten my GED in the Army so that was out of the way    So all I had to do was learn a trade . I enjoyed working with my hands and I looked in the newspaper and Electronics was in big demand . I figured this has to be it . I went to an 81 week course non stop . Four hours per night five night per week . I worked 8 to 5 went to school 6 to 10 every night for 81 weeks . During the time I was goping to Tech School I got me a job repairing Movie Projectors and then a job working at a plant that repaired automatic pilot systems for the government . I got some valuable experience doing both of these jobs . After graduation I was hired by a company in Mineral Wells , Texas called Mepco Electra . I know you never heard of them . They are owned by Phillips USA who is owned by Phillips of Holland who also owns Norelco and Magnavox . So they wasn’t a small company . They paid for all moving expenses to Mineral Wells from Oklahoma City .
