I guess the proudest moment I ever had with a close family member is when my Granddaughter was born. She was born March 10 1999.

In The Costume That Grandma Made

It was special but I guess what really made it super special was that my son decided to name her after his deceased mother. “Carolyn Sue” . I know my current wife is NOT her biological Grandma but I tell you what. I wouldn’t want to tangle with her . Whooo. Talk about a hornets nest. She would tear you up if you even just thought about looking cross eyed at HER Grand Baby. And that makes me proud too. Just like right this very second . Grandma has called HER Grand Baby  on her cel phone ; text her twice and called her mother once just to see if Grand Baby wants to come over to Grandma’s house for the weekend. Grandma is worried because there is NO ANSWER. That ain’t no STEP - GRAND MA.  That is 100% Grandma.
