Alice Streeter
Her Story
Alice Cornelia Streeter was born on April 17, 1875 to Judson H. and Maria Frances (Cox) Streeter in Kingston, Caldwell Co. Mo.
She resided with her family, in 1910 census she was living in El Reno Ward 1, Canadian, Oklahoma as a roomer with R. H. and Edna Owens. Listed as a single person at this time.
In the 1930 census she was residing with her brother Alfred, Buffalo, Newton, Missouri and listed as an unpaid housekeeper. She still listed as a single person.
On the census of 1940, it is noted that in 1935 she listed her residence in Caldwell Co. Mo. But the 1940 census lists it as again being in Buffalo, Newton, Missouri, living with her brother Alfred, as a single person.
She died on April 14, 1955 in Nevada, Missouri and is buried in Pleasanton, Linn County, Kansas along with her sister Nellie Dunavan.
