Mt Throop, Mt Burnham, and Mt Baden Powell

After taking on the challenge of hiking up to Mount Lukens, we felt that we were ready for an even more challenging hike, three peaks in one day.

It would take two cars to accomplish our goal. We drove up to Vincent Gulch and left Marv's car there. We then drove back to Dawson Saddle Trail head in the FJ to start the hike. This was truly an EPIC hike and I would recommend this hike to ALL hikers that love the San Gabriel Mountain range. With a few side trails, I believe we ended up at around 10 miles and 3000 feet of gain.

This was our plan.

Let's get started!

Bye Bye FJ.

Leaving Angeles Crest Highway behind.

I just love the nature up here!

We made it to our first peak!

We have no idea why this huge cairn is here.

Let me stay up here for the rest of my life!

Mount Baden Powell dead ahead!

Wow, the old trees are gorgeous up here.

I love this sign, we have been to all of these!

Just a short rest.

What the heck?

Just beautiful!

Just AMAZING!

1500 year old tree!

We made it to the top of Mt. Baden Powell and had our long awaited whiskey toast.

I guess people really hate GOD!

Thank god, Marv's car very near!

Check out our video from this EPIC hike!
