"My mother and my father were illiterate immigrants from Russia. When I was a child they were constantly amazed that I could go to a building and take a book on any subject. They couldn't believe this access to knowledge we have here in America. They couldn't believe that it was free." — Kirk Douglas (1916- )
Greetings, my partners in time. Check out this group when you’re looking for something good to read, and post recommendations here, too. Let’s recommend books for recreational reading, not reference books. Maybe we can keep it to period books, since we’re obviously all interested in “time.” I’m drawn to time travel myself, so I’ll be recommending lots of books in that vein. (I’m sure I was born four generations too late and was meant to be born in the late 1800s!)
For each new book recommended, please start a new discussion with the book title and author's name. Add comments to that particular book's discussion whenever you like. (It'll make books easier to find...especially if we're a group of busy readers.)
If you'd like an invite to join this group, send me a quick note and I'll add you right away! Happy reading, my friends. Deborah@ALifetimeLegacy.com
