Dr. William H. Emery

His Story

     Dr. William H. Emery was born on March 10,1852, in New Market, Ohio.  In the 1880 census he is listed as married to Cora R. (1863) in Ohio.   A Susannah Oates (widowed) is listed as living with them.  In the 1880 census she is listed a  Williams mother, but on Cora R. Emery/Kendall death cert. she is listed as Cora’s mother, which I think is correct. Unable to find much about Dr. William H. Emery.  In the Ohio Deaths and Burials he is listed as dying Jan. 30,1890 , in Mt. Sterling, Madison, Co. Ohio and is buried in Pleasant Cemetery.  Occupation is noted as Physician.   I found another Dr. William H. Emery in Ohio, but he was still alive in 1917.

     In 1885 births I found a daughter Rena E. born to William and Cora.  I do not believe that Dr.W.H. Emery ever resided in Caldwell County, Missouri.  It seems that his Widow Cora R. ,Rena E. and Susannah Oates, migrated to Missouri, shortly after the death of Dr. William Emery
