Percival Henry Streeter

His Story

 

    Percival H. Streeter was born to parents Charles Edgar Streeter (1846-1916) and Sarah Frances (Clare) Streeter (1860-1926) on December 5th, 1882 in Missouri.

     He lived with his parents through the 1900 census in Hamilton, Missouri.  On February 20th 1907 he was united in marriage to Kitty Devoe Tattershall (1884-1982)

      In the 1910 census they were living in Hamilton, Missouri and had two children at this time.  Hazel M - 1908, and Charles Wm. -1909.

       On September 12, 1918 he registered for the WWI draft.

       The 1920 census show the family living in Kidder, Missouri, also same in 1930 census. Percival listed as farmer, and daughter Hazel listed as teacher, son Charles listed as farmhand.  A third child Reve and a son Forest listed as living with the family.

     The census of 1940 says Percival owned his farm in rural Caldwell County, Missouri, and listed home as being in Hamilton, Missouri.  It also states that Percival went to college for 1 year, but not where.

     Percival died on September 16, 1963 and is buried in Highland Cemetery, Hamilton, Missouri.

     His wife Kitty (Tattershall) Streeter died in November 1982, and is buried in Highland Cemetery, Hamilton, Missouri.
