What things matter most to you in life?

What things matter most to me in my life?

It’s simple things. I enjoy just sitting, and watching, and looking, watching the world go by, that means people watching, watching cars and trucks go down the road. I enjoy sitting outside on a hot summer day in the shade, on the grass, reading and just taking it easy.
I enjoy a quiet time at home. Sunday afternoon naps.
Simple conversations with people, to talk about ideas and how to make things happen, what they’re doing, what’s important to others, how to solve problems, listening to them, and perhaps giving advice.
Spending time with my children, and grandchildren. Sometimes that means just watching them do what they do. Never saying anything, just observing their play.
I enjoy discussing the gospel of Jesus Christ, and as that discussion goes, oftentimes I will find questions to ask that are different and come at what the conversation is from a different direction.
I have been described as a contrarian because my questions are thought-provoking and challenging to others.

What simple pleasures of life do you truly enjoy?
What is the furthest you have traveled?
